I have been having KFC food since a long time now. When KFC launched in India, I liked their Zinger Burger and when I went to the US, there too I have enjoyed their Burgers and Fried Chicken.
However, my experience with the KFC, Kasba outlet has been the most unpleasant. I felt like cheated with my money and felt pukish after having the food.
There's so much lip smacking food KFC offers. Let's sum of some of their favorite items:
Zinger Burger: It's a filling burger with a fried chicken patty, replete with cheese and ketchup. It was a favorite item for me all along.
Fried Chicken: KFC has a crunchy crust over their fried chicken which makes it very interesting to eat It comes in buckets offering 3 piece, 6 piece, 12 piece as per convenience.
Slider: These are short burgers which are economically more viable.
Krushers: These are flavored icy drinks which come in CHocolate, Strawberry and multiple variety.
In Kasba, Rajdanga outlet however, my experience was very bad and I am not sure if I am ever going back.
IMPORTANT: Don't fall prey to their offers like buy one burger, get another free. Those are hoaxes only to boost their sale on weekday evenings. Once you are in the outlet, you will hear that the offer is not in place as stock is over. Then again, they will announce offer is there again, but once you are back to the queue, they will again say that stock is over. I mean, seriously, what the chicken, man!
Okay, now let me narrate my recent bad experience. I went there on evening time with office crowd. We wanted Burger, Fried CHicken and Cold Drinks. First, while ordering, they said, that they no longer give cheese with the burger and I have to buy it separately. That too at the cost of Rs. 25/- for putting cheese per burger. When I said, I don't want cheese on my burger and will opt to have it with only ketchup, the server was adamant and said it would taste very bad without cheese. I said I dont mind. But the server very rudely said that if I want a burger, I had to pay for cheese.
This was really really a turnoff.
Next, came their cheating with cold drinks. They said neither pet bottles, nor cans are available. But if we want cold drinks, they can pour them in glasses from 2 lite bottles. We said that we want to buy the 2 litre bottle instead. But they said that it's not up for sale and the only way to have cold drinks was in glasses, 40 rupees each. And yes these are all pre tax prices. The amount of cold drinks those glasses hold was quite less, not even 200 ml and they are simply cheating people.
Anyway, when I had the fried chicken and burger, we felt that it was too oily. We felt pukish, and I did not finish my food.
Terrible service and food standard and pricing policies really. I won't go back there.
