Blue sky, green land and a beautiful sea, and a calm surrounding too, what else do we need on a wonderful break…a break from a fast metro life?
Yes, I want to mention about the extremely beautiful beaches located in a place called Kasargod.
Kasargod is a place located 67 kilo meters away from Mangalore, in the borderline between Kerala and Karnataka. It is famous as a hub for all kinds of spices in Kerala. Spices are exported from this place.
In addition to that, this place has got extremely wonderful beaches, KapilBeach and the BekalBeach to mention, which are not very famous indeed, like all the tourism attractive places. A very few tourists you get to see on these amazing beaches.
To describe the beauty, and more importantly the bliss associated with this place is difficult to express in words. It is a blend of paradise, ecstasy and harmony. A beautiful lengthy sand beach on one side, green palm and coconut trees on one side, the blue sky and the blue sea on the other. And the calmness and cleanliness of these beaches is beyond commendable. And the sea shells you see lying here and there, are of different colours, orange, green, golden, pink, dancing with the waves of the sea. Wanted to carry a few of those, but the space constraint didn't permit me.
Travelling Route can be a 16 hours train journey from Chennai. One can get down at the Kasargod station itself.
Or it is one and a half hour drive, basically a road journey from Mangalore. There are cottages and hotels to stay which are pretty low in cost compared to any other tourist place.
Overall, it is is a must to visit place.
Cheers
