Director of this film leaves you with this feeling when you watch KCK. In the end you just want to bang your head on the back of the sit in front of you. Whole movie keeps you glued to your chair and in end you feel that this movie is making you fool from last two hours or so.

Karthick calling Karthick is an intelligent movie with highly predictable end. It is a complete failure as a suspence-thriller. Only love story of Farhaan and Deepika keeps the movie going. Nothing else. The storyline although is different from normal Bollywood movies. It gives audiences food for thought (like pop-corns and lollipops). When your 'alter-ego' guides you, becomes your mentor and guides you to come out of failure, you definitely feel thrilled. The same things happens while watching KCK, as a shy and introvert IIM passed Karthick Narayan ( Farhaan Akhtar) tranforms himself into a confident and successful employee and a human being. The pace of the film is very very slow as it is requirement of the scripts. But due to excellent acting of Farhaan, you will not mind it. Farhaan has lived the character very beautifully. He has done it so convincingly that you forget that he is just 3 films old.

Shonali (Deepika Padukone) is dream-girl of Karthick. But due to lack of confidence Karthick never dares to talk with her and even she doesn't notice him for several years (4 yrs), Boss (Ram Kapoor) always bullies him and get all work done from him as Karthik doesn't know how to say 'NO'. His landlord (Vipin Sharma) unnecessarily tries to harass him by always asking more money, giving unreasonable excuses.Karthick goes to his psychiatrist (Shifali Shah) and on her advice he tries to speak infront of Boss and in turn loses his job. Depressed and failed completely he decides to commit suicide and at the same time his landline phone rangs. His well wisher and unknown friend (Karthick/himselfs) guides him to get his job and girl back.

Deepika has done a reasonably good acting in this movie. She looks stunning in corporate outfits. Shonali is an ambitious girl with lots of bad relationship in past. She is in love with Ashish, who hides about his marriage from Shonali and dates her regularly. From the guidance of Karthick (on phone)..Karthick successfully impresses Shonali and eventually she falls in love with him when she comes to know about his ;Silent love'. The love-story of the movie is the plus point. The love-story is filled with lot of light hearted scences and intelligent humors. Punches from Farhaan Akhtar makes every one smile. You start loving the on-screen chemistry between Farhaan and Deepika, and suddenly phone rangs again. Karthik (phonewala) warns Karthik not to disclose anyone about his 'misterious' calls. But Karthik fails to hide this secret from Shonali and 'Revenge game' starts.

The theme/concept of the movie is really good, storyline and screenplay is excellent, caste performance is apt, 'Uff teri ada' song is good, soundtrack is nice. You start expecting a lot from the movie but at end the movie very badly disappoints you. The knots gets revealed in very kiddish way. You find very predicatable climax is coming ahead and film becomes very average with its end. You start feeling smarter than writer and director of the movie. You feel that writer is 'short of ideas' and director just wrap up the movie in hurry. The thriller and suspence movie suddenly becomes a 'joke'. and you feel cheated.

Director laughs at you, claps and says..'.Oollu banaya..bada mazaa aaya.'
