Bad ph. avoid Karbonn A7+ bad service, bad build. Review on Karbonn A7+

I am editing my reviews-

avoid all karbonn phones for poor build quality high defect rate, and low service or zero service by centers,

editing as Recently found my A7+ speaker isnt working, and tried to find service center in north delhi, it is inside a bad dingy area vegetable mandi( wholesale market), without any parking, I said can yu repair he speaker today, nO sir takes 4 days at least, I refused to give him, as he may take out the spares from my mobile, very bad service backup from Karbonn. if yu need repair pay and get it at local shops.

here are my picks. for 7500 you can get lumia520 its awesome, but not android, but stay away from karbonn due to bad service. take Samsung s-duos for 9000, between 10-15k, several options of samsung galxy core at 12k, sony xperia M dual sim at 13000, for above 15k the best is canvas 4 for build quality and least number of bad sets per thousand.

PROS with my ratings:

1.good screen 7/10

5. size 3.5 inch- great- 6/10.

   
   




6. Price- around Rs.6400 at Vijay sales shops. in jan 2013

   
   

CONS- 1. the camera works fine, but pic quality is average. it has dual LED flash. which is nice.

1. android 2.3 is old- needs an upgrade to android 4

   
   




2. Service centres- dont know, not checked- maybe 5/10 on service.

   
   




3. Battery isn’t the best, needs more talk time. surfing and game time. batt life-5/10

   
   

OVERALL rating- 7/10.

OTHER-  black front has better looks than white,

• Battery backup- is average, limited user, heavy users stay away.

-Screen quality is avg, don’t compare with samsung. the TFT clarity is ok  to read. resolution is 320x 480 pixel

-Call sound is  ok. for both  mic and earphone, also speakerphones or  using music player.

-Camera recording quality- is average has grains. low pixels, night shots are very bad

• 2g Internet slow, but Wifi net surfing speed is super.

  
  




• Internal memory is 4GB, free mem only 2GB is very low,  Ram 512mb, free ram only 170 MB is very low, it hang if you load many apps,

  
  

, you can install apps whatsapp, a few games, but do not overload or it may hang.

I bought it for 3 reasons- a. size 3.5' is ideal, b. dual LED flash  c dual sim phone-

FEATURES-

3.5' full  touch, 320 x 480 pixels,  5MP, android 2.3, front vga cam also, batt is 1420 mAH, DUAL sim, dual standby,  you get batt charger and headphones( nice), dont compare with HTC and samsung, as price is half of those.

Safeguard:  better buy after physical check at the shop, avoid web shops.
