The beautiful morning and some good company made this trek a memorable one. best expressed in pictures. The monsoons are the best time to visit this place. four of us drove down from Pune. Its a 4 hour drive. People in the village at the foothills are good. Food is available reasonably.
Atlthough this is the highest peak the trek is relatively easy, provided you start early. Not much of vegetation around which makes the heat rise in the afternoon.
From the top you, Harishchandragad and a few other forts are visible. Its just a peak with a temple on top. The journey is far better than the destination.
