I am using Kalenji Ekiden 50 sports shoes since last 6 months, the first pair I bought it through rediff.com. I am very satisfied with it's performance as I use it for light jogging and Brisk walking. However the build quality is like it can be used for rough use as well.
The quality of the shoes are in par with entry level jogging shoes of Nike/Addidas/Puma, in fact previously I have used Reebok and Nike and they used to smell a lot. The wear and tear is also satisfactory compared to that of well known brands.
After experiencing 6 months, I have ordered one more pair from koovs.com for Rs.839/- so that I can use it after the current ones are used up.
The materials used are very good quality, the great advantage of this shoe is it will not smell bad even if worn for whole day in non-ac conditions. This was never the case with well known brands.
My mother is also using Kalenji ladies shoes(light blue/pink colored) ones, she is far compfortable in Kalenji than expensive diabetic footwear.
The Kalenji shoes are very light weight and has eva midsole, the uppers and bottoms are very good quality.
I don't understand why this company is not releasing variety of designs?
The shoes are made in Vietnam, and well known brands are manily from Thailand/China.
Go ahead and buy a pair of these Kalenji Ekiden 50 shoes, it's best entry level sports/jogging shoes you can buy and they really pay you back as compared to well known brands!
