Kahin to hoga, another bizarre by ekta kapoor, started as a happy-go-lucky, serial of five sisters extremely compassionate and sensitive towards each other. Molly, charu, kanan, mehek and kashish. The eldest of all being Kashish. The five sisters live with their father and are happy with what they have. Kashish works in an office with an awfully offensive and uncouth boss, sujal garrewal. Gradually this guy starts to fall in love with her, u know, ekta kapoor style with the background music and her usual melodrama. Both of them r madly in love with each other but (that but has to come or the significance of it being a serial under the Balaji banner is lost.) Both of them decide to marry each other and talk to their parents about it. But the parents have already thought abut a guy for kashish, Piyush Raheja. He has been very helpful to them and has always been there in times of trouble, it seems. I don’t understand why the daughter of the house has to marry someone who has been of help. Anything, but marry? What age r they talking about? What generation does E.K belong to? I don’t know. Then kashish, proving to be an ideal daughter marries piyush in spite of the fact that she is still frantically in love with sujal. She manages to be calm about the fact and gradually starts liking this guy and fall in love with him. Sujal is suddenly out of picture. Then, one day piyush meets with an accident and for no rhyme or reason kashish holds sujal responsible for piyush’s death despite the fact that piyush and sujal were best friends. She manages to find all kinds of false truths and wide of the mark thoughts start haunting her. Sujal is nowhere responsible for the death. Not one day after piyush’s death sujal proposes to kashish and she refuses. After a while with the objective of avenging piyush’s death for the second time she gets married. To sujal, though. Sujal is still madly in love with her and has immense faith in her. He is very happy and kashish pretends to be in love with him. But nowhere does sujal realize that kashish is doing something fishy. It is impossible to mention what all she does to get sujal into trouble. But sujal still believes in her. He loves her soooooooooooo much. Then one day sujal is called to court and is held responsible for piyush’s accident. Kashish has registered the case. But all of a sudden kashish realizes that sujal is not responsible for piyush’s death and withdraws the case against sujal. Still, sujal forgives her and agrees to carry on his relationship with her. Both of them r very happy now and r living a happy married life. One day all of a sudden because of some family issues their point of views change and kashish is kicked out of the house. Sujal then in order to make up with her calls her to meet in a typical ekta kapoor FORESTY place and meets with an accident. The post-mortem reports, identification of the body everything is satisfied and indicates to the fact that sujal is dead. But his body is then found on the banks of a river and the girl who finds the body is a hospital. Meanwhile the actor RAJEEV KHANDELWAL is tired of ekta kapoor’s twisted stories and decides to leave the serial. He is the main character of the serial, resigns, but the serial still goes on…………… and on ……………….. and on……………. Sujal’s face is all mushed and deshaped, as usual to bring in a new character and the doctor (archita) who finds the body falls in love with the new face of sujal, tushaar. Tushaar who is a complete stranger to kashish, does not even remember who he himself his, has lost his complete identity falls in love with the same girl as he was when he was sujal. Height of co-incidence and kashish doesn’t mind. In the meanwhile Her sister charu is in love with this guy akshat and they are made for each other. Very cute couple. When sujal dies akshat supports kashish a lot and they become good friends. Then it is known that sujal’s father has another wife reva and akshat is his son i.e. sujal and akshat are step brother’s. Akshat has another brother swayam who is the villain of the Sherrill’s. (there is ought to be a wamp or villain in every family in the K serials. He wants to ruin the garewals and become the owner of the garewal empire. He has a proposal for kashish. He says that if kashish marries him then he will not ruin the garewal’s. so kashish decides to get married for the third time, To swayam, though. His brother akshat considers kashish a very good friend and decides to marry her (just as a drama to show to the people that they r in love with each other) so that she doesn’t have to marry swayam forcefully. He does that without thinking or talking to charu about it at all, neither does kashish think about charu. Charu is really pissed with kashish and refuses to even see her face. Then kashish realizes that she should have informed charu about the drama but charu refuses to talk to her. Swayam finds out that kashish and akshat r not in love with each other and so starts blackmailing kashish again. Kashish decides to marry swayam (4th wedding plan). ‘main bahu ka farz nibhaungi. ‘The logical question that she should be asked is kaunse parivar ki bahu? It is a wedding in distress but ‘sab kuch dhoom dham se’. This is just the start ‘aage aage dekho hota hai kya?’ U cannot believe what rubbish the serial turned into. IT was a serial I enjoyed initially but now that I realize what level ekta kapoor can droop down to I genuinely have understood the meaning of ‘driving crazy’. If there is anyone out there who wants to drive himself or herself crazy I recommend all the serials under the ‘balaji banner’. If u really want to drive urself mad watch ANY of the K serials. I assure it will drive u crazy in a week’s time.
