This serial shows that Ekta can not get away from his style and his pet saas bahu hangover. The hindi language used is of today's standard. Even these days in hindi speaking state of India, we do not address our elders like this(Bhaiya ye aap kya kar rahe ho, right sentence is - Bhaiya ye aap kya kar rahe hain, ho comes with tum and aap with hain.
Another issue is dressing of cast, jumping of events. Actual story of Mahabharat is before the war and after the war, but it seems, Ekta is in hurry to get Pandavas and Kauravas appear on the screen very fast. She is stretching her other serials for years and the story which can really be shown for years are summarised in days.
This shows her maturity level. No where near B R Chopra's Mahabharat, even after having better technology and better choice of cast and supports.
Cheap is only word should be used for this.
