The approximate cost for two was about 400 and it was surely worth spending so much.
Just Chill 7 is one of the best places if one wants to have softy. This place is so cool and nice that after entering once here no one will leave this place for a very long time. This restaurant is situated under near the most famous Matunga King Circle.
I happened to visit this place one fine day when I was travelling from Jogeshwari to Wadala and I accidentally happened to get down King circle as one of my friend was going to handover some important books to me. It's was somewhere around mid summer and it was damn hot so we both decide to have something cool types. As he resided somewhere near Matunga circle only he took me to this place called JUST CHILL 7.
From outside the place seemed nice and descent. There was a ribbons and balloons besides so we first decided to go in ribbons and balloons and enjoy the cool air conditioned air.
Just chill 7 din't have air condition room, rather it was open but very spacious. This ice-cream corner is right under the eastern express highway overfly bridge. We went to ribbons and balloons and had walnut fudge, and then we went to just chill 7.
I wondered why was this place names just chill 7? I asked the person sitting at the cashier and he replied with a smile that he too does not know it, and at that point of time I totally went clueless, with kind of a lost feeling.
On entering the place I was attracted with each and every item in that place. Every itme that was kept to displayed was very much mouth-watering. There were lots of cocktails like fudges with chocolates, vanilla with strawberry and so on. Not only the eatables were mouth watering but even the juices were something special.
There were many many varieties present there, especially the one to notice was the Strawberry softy in waffle basket, Swiss alpine, Toppler. I feel the generation of just ice-cream is going out of trend, in future it will be remix of ice-cream with different stuffs and that what the challenge would be to brands like amul, naturals etc.
The juices also are very much tasty especially the kachi kairi is very quirky, and the twist of lemon adds up the flavor even more.
One thing I can say is that this parlor is very good but can't be compared to hokey pokey celebrations and that is what I was talking about that brands like amul and naturals have to cope up in future but hokey pokey has what the future will demand.
Now let me come into the minute details
Ambience is OK and nothing great to boast about. Places like gelato's hardly offer sitting place and compared to that this place offers a good amount of seating place. But other brands like amul, naturals provide seating space with cooling facility but this place does not have cooling facility of air condition but although it's descent with fans on.
Now comes the variety, there is good amount of varities here, different type of cocktails, remix of ice-creams. Pretty descent range of ice-creams and juices are there. I don't think I've even tried 1/4th of them. Will keep exploring more and more.
Service is quick and one does not need to wait much, and it's first come first serve scenario.
I would say it's value for money even though its expensive, such parlors aren't found everywhere so it's VFM for me. Something different and innovative I would say this place was and altogether a different experience it was for me.
Cons
No parking space as it's connecting to the highway road.
No Music
At times during the rainy season flies tend to come inside the parlor and that ruins the enjoyment of having ice-cream.
Sodexo coupons aren't accepted here and this would be disadvantage for people who have the habit of using the coupons, as most of the people don't use such coupons.
This place is for only those people who enjoy ice-creams and juices and I would recommend Swiss Alpine to everyone, and do eat the small basket of cone too as it's delicious and chocolate melts and forms at the bottom of the basket.
And no worries even if one does not like this place as there is ribbons and baloons besides itself hahahaha.
So guys if you all are anywhere around Matunga do try this for sure.
A place recommended for people from all age, right from children to old people.
