One and probably the only problem I(and many others) have with that beach is pollution. even in Mumbai other beaches are much cleaner then juhu beach. may be because this one is quite famous. there are many reasons behind so much pollution there and illegal hawkers play an important role in that. they many of them don't have any dustbin etc and people just buy food from them and after eating throw leftovers on the beach.
I don't know why municipality is not doing anything serious in this direction. that's one of the famous visiting places in Mumbai and leaving it dirty and polluted like this is actually effecting the overall image of Mumbai as most of the foreigner tourists visit there at least once.
