Since Reliance Jio has launched this application on Google Play store, this application is being used my me. I had very bad user experience when it was launched earlier, Application crash many times, Some timing lag, quality issue was their. After many update if I recall after Diwali 2016 JIO company has modified this application in a particular manner that JioTV application works smoothly with minimum chances of crashing.
Trust me or not, now days my mother used to see JioTV if she misses any episode. Even though it can work in your Wifi Network after validation of your Jio Membership.
I think more or less this app is very nice, also has a 7 days past option to watch in some channel specific. Also I have their is a channel called JIOTV in this application in top of it's list which offers us a variety amount of good en user experiences.
All in one I should recommend this application to all the user of JIO if he/she wants to watch live as well as past episodes of TV or sports, etc.
