I am shocked to receive such pathetic support from the telecom leader of the country. I have been a loyal customer from so many years and did not move to a different network even when I started facing challenges with the voice or internet or network thinking that they'll be resolved in some time.
My internet has not been working for last 10+ days, however, I kept waiting patiently for it to get resolved automatically since I thought it must be an issue since Jio is expanding its 5g network.
Finally, after waiting for a week, I called customer care and I was informed that a request has been raised for me and it will be resolved soon. Again I kept waiting for 5 days, but no resolution or update on the request. Hence, I called up the customer care again, but they can do is say sorry for the inconveniences caused rather than actually helping the customer.
I informed them that I have already checked the settings at my end and I've also run the troubleshooter in MyJio app, the settings are correct, yet the agent disconnected the call by saying that she has forwarded some settings to me over the sms and asked me to check them and callback if the issue is not resolved.
Of course, the issue was not resolved since those settings had already been verified at my end. Still, I again verified them and reset the APN setting and called back but was informed by another agent that cannot help me, he denied giving me an ETA, he denied forwarding my call to the supervisor or any escalation team, all he said was please send an email. Then I switched to the chat support and when I enquired about the status of the request raised for me 5 days back, I was informed that there is no request. This is really pathetic, instead of helping the customer your support is keeping him in the dark and basically lying to him that a request is raised.
Finally, the chat agent raised a request for me today and I was assured that this time the request is really raised and I will receive an sms confirmation. I really received the sms with request number SR00001INRWS. However, to my surprise when I just checked the status of the request I found that it has been closed as resolved when the issue has not actually been resolved. My issue is still not resolved, my internet is still not working.
This is the height of customer negligence. Why should I stay on this useless service provider that has such pathetic support apart from other voice and network-related issues? Why should I recharge my number when should I pay when I'm not getting the service I'm paying for? I have been patient, I have waited, I have trusted your support, but now I'm done. Not raising requests and closing them even without resolution!!!
I'm going to port my number to some other network now, good luck surviving in the market with such wonderful support and service.
