I have booked a flight with Jet Airways from Chandigarh - Mumbai which they have reschedule. Now they were giving me full refund or take alternate flight.
In both the cases it was a loss for me if I take full refund other vendors have increased price and I would be end up on paying double money now what is the point of booking flight so early in other case they were giving me flight for next day in that case I will have to bear the cost for accommodation.
I have asked a simple question to JetAirways why there is a different standered for customer and Airlines while it comes to rescheduling.
If customer reschedule the flight they would literally loose their 80-90% amount of booking however if the airlines reschedule they are not in a lose of a single rupee. Customer and Airline both reschedule for their own benefit and purpose then why only customer is liable to pay penalty not airlines. I have asked this question to Manasi Bhatia who is nodal manger in Jet Airways and I was surprise that she has given me a lame excuse like level 1 support person that this is our policy and you have agreed while booking the ticket with us.
