+++Jet Konnect - Smooth 'n Sweet+++. Review on Jet Airways

I had booked a Jet Konnect flight from Kolkata to Vizag and one from Vizag to Kolkata for my honeymoon. I had made the booking online a few months before. I was bound to leave Kolkata on 20th December, 2010.

A few days before my travel, I received a call from a Jet Air associate who informed me that both my flights have been cancelled. However, they had arranged for our seats in an alternate flight. The one to Vizag was post poned by half an hour and the one back to Kolkata was preponed by two hours. It did not make much change to my travel plans. Indeed, it was thoughtful of Jet Air to allott me in these alternate flights and duly informing me of the same. It's because of their efforts, my honeymoon itirenary did not mess up.

The flight to Vizag had surprises in store. I had previously travelled in private airlines and not much impressed with the service. However, Jet Air proved to be a different kind of experience. The Jet Konnect airbus was smaller than a normal passenger aircraft. The staircase was also shorter than the ususal. I found out the reason when I was on board. There were two rows of two-seaters and not three-seaters unlike other aeroplanes. It was cute and cozy.

Now, I must confess that though I have taken flight a number of times I still feel butterflies at my stomach and pain in my eardrums while take-off and landing. But to my astonishment, the Jet Konnect take-off was smooth as butter. There was no jerking, nor any ear congestion. We were just flying, happy and smooth. The same was while landing. Normally, when the aeroplane wheels touch the ground and the plane takes enormous speed, it can be a bit eerie. But here it was different, it felt nice. I was loving it. My wife was a first time flyer. She too thoroughly enjoyed it. Neither she felt giddy, nor nauseatic. What's more, there were no jet-lag post the flight too.

The flight ambience was cool and soothing. The air hostess and steward were nice, well mannered and pleasant people. I would have been happier if I got some free food. But no, food comes with a price. You can shop goodies too likes bags and accessories. The flight left on time, and even reached the destination five minutes before the stipulated time. Excellent service!

I would recommend Jet Konnect flight for a hassle free flying experience. You will enjoy the flight and it will soothe you. And yes, if you are flying to Vizag from Kolkata, do check out the amazing beauty of the Bay of Bengal through the window. It feels great to gaze at the blue ocean. And when you are above the clouds, you can almost feel the heavens.
