A couple of days back, I was badly stuck up at Jamnagar. I had to report for duty within 20 hours at my factory at Thane & hence I decided to make use of Jet Airways. To my pleasant surprise, the ticket ( Economy Class ) was delivered within no time by a Jet Airways agent.
The flight was scheduled to start the next morning at 07:30 hrs. & due to additional security checks in view of the recent terrorist attacks, the reporting time was 06:15 hrs. The clearance at security was prompt. My baggage was checked through computerised security monitors & my person was also frisked. The device emitted a beep sound while it neared my belt, otherwise there was no problem.
Inside the plane, I noticed that the flight was only 60% full. Maybe people were scared of flying by plane or else it may be due to the somewhat expensive ticketing of Jet.The ticket was priced at Rs. 2650/- from Rajkot to Mumbai.
The air-hostesses & flight pursers were courteous & friendly with a pleasing smile on their faces. The breakfast was good with Upma, Idli & Chutneygiven for passengers. The take-off & landing was smooth & I managed to reach Mumbai by 08:30 hrs & keep my appointment with my job.
I have flown by IA & I must say the service at Jet is miles ahead& I would recommend this Airways for flying if you are in India.
