I was searching on Google map for any temple on shivalik Hills because shivalik Hills are just in circle of 10-20 km from my home in chandigarh. Finally I found Mata jayanti devi temple in majri village just 10km away from pgi hospital in chandigarh. We fixed date for our visit. I was having tubeless tyres in my bike. I travel via chandigarh - kurali road when I reach majri village there was muddy road for 1km then fine perfect road. I saw temple was approximately on 400 - 500 mt height on a hill.
After trekking 100s of stairs I saw that small beautiful and well managed temple. I saw whole majri village from up. Many beautiful, green Hills, Lake, corn field. Fresh air. I was lost while watching all that. For more info visit Google
