Currently, this movie is getting 8 out of 10 ratings on IMDB. I like this movie as per its knowledge and comedy. Like, this movie is so informative plus it also has so many comedy scenes. Creating a movie on such a serious issue and then making it or understanding the audience through laughter is the best technique that any movie can achieve, that's what I found out. Because we forgot some information who is so boring or taught by in a serious situation. People forget it. But, a topic which is taught by something in a fun way is what that person is gonna remember that for in his/her entire lifetime.
After completing the entire movie, I prefer it for the viewers to watch it at least once. The movie is actually knowledge-full and also gives a lot of information regarding the concept and the people who live in a small village, how they overcome this thing like understand the concept and get aware about condoms. Also, how it is more important to even teach this topic to our upcoming generations too
Story:-
The story revolves around a girl named Maokamna(played by Nushrratt Bharuccha) who believes and lives her life as an independent woman. She wants to bring awareness to society regarding using condoms as to use them only for protection, not for pleasure. The point is according to the movie counts, around 1.5 crores of abortions are happening in India every year. Also, women face a lot of complications in this phase, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. Also, a small story also has been shown in the movie about a girl is get pregnant by her boyfriend before marriage and then get aborting her child and literally dies due to poison that has been spread on her body.
Story gets sometimes emotional and also comedy as I have previously mentioned. But, the point of inequality amongst gender has also been able to show in the movie. That, Manokamna selling condoms and bringing awareness to the society, so her father-in-law has problems with this. But there is a scene where Manokamna asks her husband if he is gonna sell this and do this job, then her father-in-law will support him.
Apart from this, a small village in Madhya Pradesh called Chanderi where this entire film revolves around.
Acting:-
Okay, the acting skills of Manokamna are great but there are some side actors whose acting skills are even more attractive. Like, Manokamna's Parents, her mom Sapna Sand and her father Ishtiyak Khan who has the best acting skills and has the best comedy timing.
Other than that, her husband Ranjan(played by Anud Singh Dhaka) has the least acting skills. Like, in romance or in comedy, he failed in both.
In conclusion, the story is great but the plot of this movie is weak. That's why I have given only 2 ratings in the plot section. Because in the end, it's just like everything is sorted like in 2 minutes. I just like Ekta Kapoor's serial. Everything is sorted so quickly in the end as if nothing has happened. Or the problem was not too large as it was shown before the interval. That's why I thought the plot is weak. Like, they have to end this movie in an instant and it happened. At last, Nushrrat Bharuccha comes last and in fact aware of the audience as well. That's the important point of view is that I have found in the movie.
Songs and music were also not necessary according to the movie situation. Like, Bollywood can not complete without a song so they have added 2-3 songs in this flow. But after this cinematography is also good. But somewhere it is lacking.
