This is going to be my second year at Jamia. I'm pursuing English Honors so my review will be based on my experience at the English Department, or the Faculty of Humanities and languages.
The Area:
The premises of the university are gorgeous. You'll find cute dogs, squirrels, and cats on the campus. There are beautiful plants and trees all around. There are plenty of spaces to sit and relax or study. The library can be accessed using your ID card. This ID Card is really important. Not only can you enter the campus with it but you can avail plenty of services just for being a part of the University.
Quality of Education: You receive a high quality of education. The professors are skilled and proficient at what they do. Some of the professors give lectures in National and International Universities. Saba Bashir, Anuradha Ghosh, among many others are the epitome of excellence in Literature. They are very good at what they do.
Administration: The worst part may be the slow services that you receive from the admin department. The paperwork is a bit slow(although a lot faster than govt. institutions).
Otherwise, It's a beautiful place to study. Perfect for learning in a holistic environment that focuses on all-round development.
