Hybrid of Over-Thinking and Revenge!. Review on Jalsa

I don't like this movie as its plot is too weak and also its story is even so common. That's why, I guess, IMDB has given this movie a 6.8/10 Rating. I have already seen this kind of movie like hundred times. But, only this movie has got this much Rating and I am giving it as 2 Stars(Average), because of the Acting of the 2 Lead Female Actor of this movie, that is, Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah.

Story:-

Like, its story is very simple that is, a simple hit and run accident that leads to the victim being the daughter of the killer's maid. The killer and maid are fighting with thoughts at the end of the movie. And, at last, the Killer surrendered herself, but this is an Indian Movie so there might be a drama that the maid tries to end killer's son as well as a Revenge. But, didn't do as she just wants to make feels killer as that how does it feel.

The entire movie is based on these 2 role, that is, Maya Menon aka Vidya Balan and Ruksana Mohammad aka Shefali Shah. The Story gets even more interesting when they ended the movie properly. Like, the ending of movies shows the feelings of both mothers were so much worried about their children's safety and at last relaxed. But also, they can show us even more than showing Maya Menon in Jail and Anand(Manav Kaul), Ex-Husband of Maya Menon taking care of her son, Ayush Menon and also at the end the Police gets their punishment as well. The only justice we can see is with Rohini George, who get the evidence and of course, she will put it on her story and eventually the cops got punishment as well. Also, the politician Ramnik, played by Vijay Nikam.

Acting:-

Vidya Balan as Maya Menon, the famous Journalist has given her 100% to her role. She is the best in this movie, in a role of a Mother, Daughter, Ex-Wife, Girlfriend, Journalist and even as a Killer. She has an anxiety issue as when she gets irritated or frustrated, she gets into the loop of Over-Thinking and that makes her realize what mistakes she has done in her life, such as, killing a 19 years old girl, which is a daughter of her maid and even left her there dying. She came out from her car that night, time approximately 3:00 AM. She saw that girl lying at the edge of the road and bleeding all over her body and left her there only and ran away from the site.

Shefali Shah as Ruksana Mohammad, the maid of Maya Menon(Vidya Balan). She is the only one who investigates her daughter's case at last. She tries, at last, to drown the son of Maya Menon, Ayush Menon, who is has a disease in which he can't talk and walk properly. So, Ruksana takes Ayush with her to the beach and let him there. Vidya gets to know this all and at last, when she reaches there, she saw that Ayush is fine with the maid's son, that is, Imad. Ruksana and Maya, finally sitting on a rock on the beach and the movie ends.

Some Side Actors are responsible to shut down the case of this hit and run, like:

1) Journalist, Rohini George(Vidhatri Bandi) finds every evidence regarding Vidya Balan(who is her Boss). At first, Maya neglects every piece of evidence and also offers her Rs. 2 Lakhs and 20 Thousand. Which is required to rent a house for her and her mother. But, at last, Vidya Balan surrendered herself by recording a confession video and giving this to Rohini.

2) 2 Cops, Head Constable More(Shrikant Yadav) and ASI Pradeep(Ghanshyam Lalsa) has done some bribe things in front of the CCTV Camera that night, just before an hour ago when an accident happens. So, if investigates happens then they both fire as well an also Head Constable More's daughter's wedding is there next month and also he is retiring at the same time. So, he can't take a risk of the impression of him getting ruined before his retirement.
