Yes friends I am in love…terribly in love….truly obsessed in love…

.......with this serial.......

I have always been an anti-serial person but after coming across this one I couldn’t stand to that. Well I am still against with all those soaps that test your patience and emotions. I don’t believe in the numerous artificial indigestible problems that crop up one by one and are solved by the protagonist of the serial. But “Jab Love Hua” has been able to cross my expectations on T.V. Serials. The fresh and hilarious incidents and humorous situations have helped lighten my heart.

The serial is shot completely in a village in Utter Pradesh and thus portray a lot about village life, occasionally focusing on the difference between the simple village wonders and complex city blunders. Coming to the story it is everything dealing with Aanya Shroff (played by Priya Badlani – she is claimed to be in movie ‘Naach’). Well don’t you worry she’s not like all the other amazing serial superwomen. She’s a very proud, bratty, literally stupid, impossible, irritating and more into ‘english speaking’ kind of teenage city princess (well..thats how she has to be practically) who is forced to choose her life into village rags due to an illegal act committed by her father. Thus runs she, her sister, modernised mother and strict and disciplined grand mom to hide themselves from the clutches of the policemen, who are in search of the missing criminal dad. The sudden withdrawal from all the luxuries and riches turns Aanya only to be more arrogant and selfish. She soon gets to know the village hero Raghu (played by Sudeep Sahir) whom she finds the most sensible in the village. The both indulge into funny fights but always end up helping each other. Though both do have feelings for each other they aren’t too sure of it yet. Aanya slowly realizes the difference among her city friends and Raghu. She learns the meaning of friendship and care from Raghu who stands by her foolishness and troubles with only a few months of relationship they have whereas how her equally spoilt childhood friends avoid her when they find out that Aanya is no more a sparkling queen.

So far its not at all a ‘drag a tale’ sort of story. It has maintained a good pace, plot and acting. I am quiet impressed by the change expressed in it from the usual dramas and it does spotlight on relevant and logical issues. Both Sudeep and Priya have done complete justice to their roles and so have the others. Jab love hua is a serial that you can watch if you are a person who loves to have fun or is the one wishing for a variety. It might not be a unique subject but they surely have depicted it in a unique manner.

I would recommend every one of you out there to give it a chance cause its worth to. It will only turn out to be true as 'Zee' says - "it would make you laugh only when you are about to cry"…….so y not jst give it a try........and for those who want to know the timings, it is aired at 11:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday on Zee T.V.

Enjoy !!!
