Twin Stars. Review on Iruvar Movie

As I really feel very bored I thought of gettin a ManiRathnam DVD & the film I hadn't seen was IRUVAR. So I got that & I watched the movie. Really a materpiece of ManiRathnam. In this, right from the beginning he goes with a very keen observation till the end of the film. The movie starts with MOHANLAL who is stuggling a lot 4 succeding his career. There Mani makes LAL to bring out the best from him for casting. For eg: when u take the case of scenes like he been declared as a hero for a film & then the film had been dropped & due 2 his family situation he moves once again for supporting cast. There he really opens our mouth.

Then the main hero Mr.Prakash Raaj really a hard worker. He worked well with poems rather than DIALOGUES. Because right from the introduction he begins his casting with a poem & also ends his casting with a poem which is the final touch of our heart which is really weighing a lot.

This movie immitates the life of M.G.R. & Mr.M.K. Karunanidhi who were a two great political leaders of TAMILNADU (a southern state of INDIA) with slight changes. Mani really got the info very keenly & he never missed out anything in

the film while pictorising. Bcoz every incidents had been very clearly depicted in the silver screen as it had been. For eg: the merging of MohanLAL with the political party had been clearly depicted. Really a hats off job.

Aishwarya Rai here comes to times first time as LAL's wife & makes an impression that she too can act well Xcept her lip movements.the second time as LAL's partner in the movie. There she takes the role of Miss.J.Jayalalitha. In this she really mesmerises LAL & makes her move towards politics rite from the beginning. Really a great going by Mani. I think that he had referred a lot of number of newspapers & also the persons who were all been with everyone. I don't know how he was able to get collect this much data & produce it in sliver screen as it's.

Also A.R.R. provided a classical music & some unimaginable 6-track mixing 4m Mr.H.sridhar that too in those days. The score produced when LAL makes a re-entry in the film after his 1st film dropped the BGM moving while he makes his debut

dialogue for silver screen really astonishing. But sometimes MUSIC overcomes the dialogue viz. In the scenes while after the death of Rajesh ( Mr.C.N.Anna durai) LAL purs 4ward some questions & asks for the answers. At that moment really we're unable to hear his speech. Probably atleast there he might have concentrated. Probably he doesn't want the audience to know that dialogue! .

The ArtDirection really played a good role. So totally MANI concentrated in everything even in the CAMERA used by the press photographers at that time. What a magnificient classical move. Really I missed this film in Theatres. But anyhow since the DVD I got had been equipped with DTS I hadn't missed out a lot.

So you guys can watch this movie only at your leisure.
