This place just puts its stamp on the memory cell that is going to live in your head for lifetime! the entry fee is around 50 Rs. Eatables are not allowed. So just leave it in the bus or whatever vehicle you are in. It is advisable to carry a leather bag to hold the camera unless its waterproof.

The place is maintained very neat and clean. You can hear the music of water as you are nearing the falls. There are instruction boards and information about the animals found over there.

The place is very beautiful! I have been here  from my school. We had the best day of our lives here. The vehicles are parked near the gate and you have to walk some distance into the forest. It is located in Brahmagiri wild life sanctuary.

The nature around you is mesmerising and the beauty of the valley makes you want to stay there for ever!

During monsoon, the place is quite slippery and you have to be very careful while climbing down. The steps are quite big and can be tiresome for the elderly and there are benches for people to sit and watch the falls.

Other can go below the waterfall and experience its force and the cold water falling from a great height.

If you carefully hear, you can listen to the sounds of birds and animals too. It is fun and you can spend a whole day in the falls!

I loved the experience and I would surely recommend this place to people planning to visit Madikeri, and another falls that is nearby is the Abbey falls which is a little less good than this but bigger.

Edit: The place is good to visit post monsoon, when there is not much rain, but still you have good amount of water to play and the air is cool.

You have KSRTC buses which go to Madikeri. I don't have much idea about how exactly you can get there, as I had been from a private bus arranged from school.
