Hi Everyone


The Iqara Broadband at Visakhapatnam has Taken My Money and Not Provided the connection till now.


I discussed the problem with the Manager Mr. Srinivasa Rao, he offered a settlement and now backtracked for the second time and the third time.


However, as of today there has been neither my money back nor any communication from their office.


My grievance.




  1. I had applied for a Broadband connection from Iqara Broadband on September 23, 2003.




  2. A Broadband connection was provided to me with the A/c No: 18327 until the middle of November 2003.




  3. After that, I had not renewed my connection.




  4. Subsequently over the last 2 years, I received various offers to renew my connection however, I had not renewed.




  5. After 2 years, on January 12, 2005 I had paid Rs.1630/- for renewal, change of plan, and I was informed by the customer service executive that I will get the Broadband connection by January 15, 2005.




  6. As on January 15, 2005, the Broadband connection was not provided.




  7. I had made several phone calls to the office enquiring the status and reason for delay, yet the Broadband Connection has not been provided.




  8. I had personally visited Iqara office on January 20, 2005 I asked Iqara staff either to provide the Broadband connection immediately or refund my money.




  9. On January 20, 2005, after eight days of taking money from me, to my surprise I was told that there was some excess usage of 723 Mb in November 2003 and I have to pay some charges for that.




  10. If the there are any dues from me then:






A. Company's Information System would have generated an MIS of the same 2 years back.


B. Operations people would have known about it for the last two years.


C. Their Marketing people would have known about it for the last two years when they were making their many offers for renewal to me.


D. Accounts and Audit people would have known about it for the last two years moreover could not have closed the yearly accounts without informing the Management about the Accounts Receivables.


E. Customer Service people would have known about it for the last two years and communicated the same to Management.


F. Management would have known about the dues for the last two years and I would have received a notice.


G. There has been absolutely no communication about any dues in the last two years.


H. Moreover, there was no communication about any dues at the time of taking money from me.


I. Finally, there was no communication during the last 8 days while I was making repeated phone calls to get the connection?




  1. I had discussed my problem with The Manager on January 20, 2005, and he had made a Gentleman?s Agreement with me to resolve the same within 24 hours or he will refund my money from his pocket.




  2. He also told me ?you?re a prime customer of our company and we can?t afford to lose you and it is not the problem whether you had an excess usage of 723 Mb or not but, why the company would have allowed you to consume the same?.




  3. However, as of today, nothing has materialized moreover he broke his Gentleman?s Agreement with me.






If my problem is not been solved at the earliest, I will be forced to escalate the issue to Senior Management, Legal Authorities, Media etc.
