Internet download manager or IDM is a software for downloading videos from internet from popular sites like youtube. I heard of this software somewhere. So I downloaded it for sake of trying it. But coincidently I got some project wor which I had to download some 30 videos from youtube from a channel. When I opened the first video the option for downloading was displayed by IDM but the best quality was not available. The quality which was available was 480p which was clear but not very much clear. Still I downloaded it. The video downloaded and I opened it and unluckily the video I wanted to download was not downloaded. The video which was downloaded is the advertisement which came before the video. I was annoyed. It took me around 3 hours to download all the videos. I was very much irritated by the software so I uninstalled it. The same problem can happen with you also. And trust me it is very annoying. Everyone knows that every video is available on youtube and most of the time you will be downloading videos from youtube only. So I would recommend you to use YTD downloader but not this. Few more disadvantages are: First, Not at all user friendly and have a bad user interface. Second, the functionality is too much corrupted and fails many times. Third, The installation of the software is also not normal and takes way too much time. I would never recommend this software to anyone.
