I studied in this college "Institute of Engineering and Management(IEM)". It is in kolkata, Saltlake at College More. Location of this institute is welconnected with Road and it takes 45 minutes to reach the nearest Railway station by Bus. This institute has been runing for more than 15 year and it is one of the oldest Engineering College private college. Due to having several section in engineering and Managent and IT General Courses, it has many student and it got popularity in the town. Education quality is just ok and faculties are agerave but they follow the deciplines but the amnagement system of this college is not strong enough and the placement section is very weak now. The canteen facility is not good. Very few good companies are comming for their recruitment drive recently. Around 50% of the student in average gets the placement and the average salary package is around 15k to 25k.
The fees are comparatively very high than other colleges. As it is one of the oldest private engineering college in west bengal and running over 15 years, it has and quite good alumni network.
I can recommend one who belings to rich family and has strong economic backup but as private college it not musch recommedable.
