I Purchased TCL induction Coocker 1821 for 2600Rs with shipping and other taxes from their website, I selected becoz its currently the only product which looking "promising in quality and service", Its arrived after 10 days ( they shipped through India speed post thats why).First of all the packing is superb, they used second box outside to cover the original box and another cover too.Its took us 15 minutes to remove the coocker from the packing. Its safely landed through India post(which is the worst shipping provider)
Looks fantastic outside, just afer removing from box my whole family started to love it. At very first we placed one liter water pot(flat steel vessel), and its really hot just after 2 minutes. That's awesome. Less power consumption based on it. As the less time it it takes to cook anything U don't need to leave the cooker for long so U don't need to worry about burning the cooker body due to over heating there is also OH protection. U can even touch the plate while cooking (not beneath the pot or vessel). There is control panel but even uneducated people can handle it easily, just put the vessel and turn on the power that's it, it will cook with 1800W, there is lot of options like roast, warming, milk warming, steam etc. U can set the temperatures in C too. But its unnecessary, my mom just puts the vessel and turns on the power and waits to boil, then stir and place ingredients then stir and wait till it finishes. Suprisingly with out "lid", U can't even imagine cooking with out lid on gas. Becoz the time it took very less she forgets about putting lid on it on induction cooker. Well we eat 1.5Kg chicken daily, its sucks lot of gas daily but now no need to worry about. It gets cooked with in 8 to 14 minutes.
For the first time my mom says "kid U gave me one of the best gift of all time" This is the best complement I heard since years from her.
Well its my first experience, I don't know how long it works. But even for 2 years it will be enough for me becoz it costs 2600Rs and power bills may be around 500Rs per year. and gas costs 4800Rs per year(we use one cylinder for every 2 months and its based on costs for now who knows the price of a cylinder tomorrow?). Lets hope "TCL Induction cooker live long".
OTHER U NEED TO KNOW.
It's got one year warranty, U can get it repaired at any of Ur nearest TCL Service center.
Only steel or cost Iron vessels with "Flat bed" only works on this stove, so Need to spend some money on vessels. But U get a free cooking vessel while purchased( it will be shipped separately after few days from the dispatch of the cooker).
No need to worry about getting shock or over heat problems even if U forget to turn off the cooker, if the vessels gets too hot the cooker gets off it self.
Even though its uses 1800W(mine is 1821 model), U don't need to worry about power bills. In my home we cook 1.5Kg chicken+2Liter milk+2Kg rice+0.5KgVegs+other boiling in just one hour daily which means 80 to 100Rs per month based on the current cost per Unit(1000watt per hour). Well I live in AP.
U can place it anywhere where there is flat. So no need to have "building".
It may be light but powerful, we even cook 4 KG rice sometimes. The magnetic plate or ceramic plate is about 21cmX23cm so enough for upto 5 KG cooking I guess.
Well Its better to use "STABILIZER" for Ur induction cooker, U can even use UPS(not for backup just for OVP).
There is higher model for 2700Rs(shipping extra) which is with 2000W and U can even see the "power consumption in cost". That's great right..!
Finally buying a induction cooker is a genius idea, becoz there is lot of benefits and also there is one issue "U can't use copper, aluminium, non stick" vessels other wise its must for everyday life at least in these "Pricy life" where everything is getting costly like gas. Hope U buy it soon.

1) It's been more than a year already, it's working excellent. But during this time I noticed some things that U may need to know. So I am adding it now.
2) Induction coockers not suitable for plain fry, roast, Omlet etc. Its purely good for coocking which contains sufficient amount of water or oil. U must add water to the ingredients other wise U will burn the stuff and the vessel. There is Non stick coockware available for frying speciall for IC but quite expensive.
3) U must need to have LPG just incase when there is no power(in my area power cuts common), in my case I didn't refilled the cylinders(I got 2) for 8 months due to induction coocker, but when I went to LPG office for boocking they told that my LPG account is deactivated becoz I didn't refilled atleast once in that 6 months. So I had to pay 100Rs extra to reactivate the account. So keep it in mind about LPG account.
4) The coils in inductions coockers are like halo, (not just this one all the ICs available in India) so it won't heat the complete bottom, it only heats the area of coil(U can see the bubbles from the area while boiling) so its not completly suitable for warming, so when U put it for warming U should keep it for 100W, other wise it can easily burn things like rice, curry etc.
5) I am using it for water boiling in winter, since it's very efficient I don't need to worry about power charges unlike my water heater.
6) There is not much power bills increase, I don't consider it as "power hungry".
7) The body and the design is very good, no peeling, damage, cracks something like that even after using it daily.
8) The panel is also very responsive, nothing is bad about the body of the coocker.
9) I think U can even consider the local brands, be coz the technology in it is not complecated. So U can trust even the local made. But check whether U got service in Ur area for that brand.
10) Overall Induction Coockers are excellent, less time, less energy, less work. I think they'r compalsary for modern day life. I will update in the future if I get any problem with this thing. Thanks to U guys.
