Hi Baljeet, After speaking to you yesterday I thought the problem might be resolved but I have not heard from Mr. Anshuman(nor is he taking my calls) nor have I received the books. Is my money gone down the drain along with the trust? At least you people should have the courtesy to return my calls or emails. Hello Sir,
I have a very serious complain against India Today Book Club.I received a promo email(appended below) which was too good to miss so I ordered for the books the next day(Oct 5th) and have been following up since the1 9th of this month for the books. When I call up the customer service centre they keep asking me for my Membership number which I was supposed to receive along with these books but has not showed up.
The last few emails I have been very upset and beyond rude because I have made lots of calls and given my details like name address and phone number to at least 5 different people. Also I have confirmed with my bank regarding the payment status before writing this email and the bank has confirmed that a payment of 741INR has been made to Living Media India Ltd(which is your group)Request you to read right from the bottom of this email to understand my frustration.
Moreover I have been a Rewards Supervisor myself and handled Loyalty Programmes for Cisco, Motorola, BPCL, ICICI Pru, Colgate Palmolive, Reliance & HLL so I can tell you that there is no faster way to loose a customer and create a bad name than to have an unhappy customer(more so an infuriated one). And the damage it could do to your Brand will be very very tarnishing.
I am hoping my issue is resolved and I receive my books soon.
Regards,
Shahin

Dear Shubham, I pity your power of vision. If you care ully go through my email you will see the correspondence that has happened right from the point that you have received my order till date. Do you see any Order No. any Id there? If you can't do you expect me to see something that does not exist. Also looks like you are not reading my emails correctly. I have mentioned that when I spoke to Jay on Oct 19th he could see my order and he replied that the books will be received by me in a day or two and he took down the address again. After which he confirmed to me that he has my details. I want to know if he could see the order why cant you? Is it the vision thing again? How else can I help you see an order for which I have paid and am suffering by explaining to everybody in your office who I am and what the problem is and at the end of it I receive emails which ask me the same questions to which I do not have any answers. Or at the end of it should I note this as one of those scam emails where you loose money and report it on the net? Shahin

Kindly go through your mails, I want that order id. I have placed an order on Oct 5th in response to a promotional email I received. I was expecting my order to be delivered by the 20th but I have not received anything yet. Every time I call I am asked for my membership number which I have to explain to them will be generated along with this order(which I have not received yet) Spoke to Jay Chauhan on Oct 19th, he said books will come in a weeks time. I have given the office address for delivery & my cell no too. Called on Oct 25th, spoke to Dominique, he had no clue about the order nor could he trace me in the system, had no idea what I was talking about and he passed the call to Punita who promised to call me back in an hour. May I know what is the status on my order and I am based in Delhi and so is the India Today Office so why is it taking so long to process the order. If I do not receive my order in the next 2-3 day I will write stinking reviews regarding your promos on the net and take some more actions which I do not wish to explain right away. Shahin
