Indianrail.gov.in is a useful website for Indian railway passengers. It is well designed to cater the information needs of passengers.
We can get information relating to train schedules, list of trains running between two stations, availability of seats or berths in trains for reservation, current booking availability, train enquiry, routes and running schedules of trains.
It also provides information of various codes used in Indian Railways like station codes, quota codes; rules of refund and cancellation, tatkal booking information and other railway websites information. But the website hangs suddenly and takes longer time to load the required pages sometimes due to heavy traffic at peak times.
