My Car was delivered broken. Review on Indian Packers and Movers

After much research, I had finalised on Indian Packers and Movers to shift my household items and car from Goa to West Bengal.

Initially, they decided to give me the quote over call, but since I had read in many places of their scams, once their staff comes to pack, the quote will change saying the boxes are more, the items are more, and no lifts in the building, too many floors and so on. So I made sure their staff comes to have a thorough look at all the items they need to take, including the location of the home.

Nevertheless, when the actual day of moving came, they gave me time, 9 am, but reached 11 am, saying, they lost their way, couldn't figure out where the house was and so on. They had mentioned not to pack, since their staff will pack, however, we had kept our items in boxes. Their staff just randomly dumped everything in the boxes, fragile or not, and sealed the outside of the box with masking tape. Some random items they cling-wrapped. They didn't even have bubble wrap to pack. After a very bad job of packing, then they loaded their truck. The whole packing and loading took about 4-5hrs, since their staff kept getting personal calls, and numerous times kept going out and in during the work.

Now we were promised that our items would be delivered max in a weeks time. Our household items took around 15 days and our car took around 1 month to be delivered.

Our household items came in a huge trailer, loaded with so many other things. No staff were there, and the driver who came along asked me to find a smaller truck and staff to get the work done. I had to call their manager and then the driver was advised to figure it out himself. Most of the boxes I received were in bad shape, a few items were broken, boxes were wet in some places, and covered with lots of dust. The driver and staff were like, this is common while transferring.

The car got delivered after a month, and it was broken and badly damaged. Since my Fast Tag was active on my car, though I knew the exact location of my car, they kept lying to me about it. Later they found out about it, so they removed the fast tag sticker and discarded it. The headlight, front windshield, and side body panel were badly damaged. When I asked them to pay for the damages, they asked me either to request my insurance or to give them the bill. Post that they stopped receiving my calls, and when I tried calling from other numbers, they kept saying their boss/manager is out and will call back, which never happened.

It's been 6 months now, and neither they have responded nor paid for the damages. This platform allows just two images to be uploaded, so I can't share more, choice is yours if you really want to take a risk with these vendors.
