Today I am sharing Indian Museum Kolkata. The Indian Museum, the oldest museum of India, the three story red building is situated at the City of Joy, Kolkata, in this state of West Bengal, India.
The Museum was established on the year 1814, before independence, the museum has a very rich collection, the collection includes of Geology, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Art and many more sections you can see there, inside the four boundered structure you will find a beautiful open space to enjoy the sunlight, it also has a very rare collections of species and it also includes a Mummy which was imported from Greece, it also has a Indian Traditional Section.
Which beautifully shows the attire of the people of the states of our country india, moreover there is a section of masks and weapons of medieval India.
Which the early men used to survive the place attracts people with all ages, everybody loves by watching all the displayed things, especially the students gains a loft of knowledge realated to history and past.
The timing of the museum according to the ticket is from 10 am to 5 pm during march to November and and from 10 am to 4 .30 pm during December to February.
The cost of the ticket is not, much its only twenty rupees for Indians and for foreigners its 400 rupees the price of the ticket may vary.
I Would definitely recommend visiting the museum if you are sight seeing Kolkata.
Oveall, I can say I found the proper value of my money with full enjoy.
