This is one of the oldest and largest museum in India . This historical museum was founded in 1814 with a rare collection of Antiques, Ornaments, Armors etc.
The collection is very large and impressive and you can spend almost 3 to 4 hours .
The belongings are simply awesome especially the painting gallery and egyptian section are excellent . Though the place needs maintenance.
If you are in Kolkata try not to miss this place, it has a great and an interesting collection . Cameras can be carried but do take permission.
