Indiafirst Life Insurance company is next to fraud companies. Its the worst experience I ever had with any of the insurance companies till now.
Recently 1 or 2 months back I heard about a insurance company that gives you rs. 10 Lakhs on depositing 50, 000 for 15 years and you will get your money ie. Rs 10 Lakhs after 15 years. I approached some people who were in that field working in some of the insurance companies, they were saying that how can a insurance company ask you to pay rs. 50, 000 for 15 years and in return you will get rs 10 Lakhs and that too after 15 years?
I was receiving number of calls from the India first insurance company so that I be a customer of that company. So atlast I picked up the call and they were saying that they were from Reliance insurance company and they made 2 policies one on my name and the other on my dad's name. I dont know why. And that too one of rs. 25000 and the other one of rs. 50000. The 2 policies were of Reliance Insurance company and India first insurance company. So in total my amount that I had to pay was rs. 75000. But when Contacted the person through whom we made our policies were made, they were not answering our call, either it was switched off or not available. And if that person answers the call, the phone number on truecaller was coming from the location Delhi and the person was saying that he stays in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
Then I called on the toll free number of the India first insurance company and requested for cancelation of policies issued to me. They were saying to send them an e mail with the documents and a letter of cancelation. We sent an email, then they replied to the email saying that the amount that we paid will be refunded to us in next 2-7 working days. But we got our amount refunded in 2-3 weeks.
It was a totally harassing experience for me those days.
Worst experience with this insurance company. Don't ever invest a penny of yours into this insurance company.
