If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon - this 1985 thriller novel can be considered on par with some of his best, such as Master of the Game, The Other Side of Midnight, Bloodline, Windmills of the Gods to name just a few among his large repertoire of bestsellers. The story revolves around Tracy, a successful Philadelphia bank-worker and engaged to a wealthy heir, whose child she is carrying. While her goody world comes crashing down, Tracy now has only revenge on her mind and while out on an early parole, she goes about her job meticulously. How she eventually embraces the world of a colourful crime spree spread across Europe, her lust for stealing and her love affair with a co-conspirator makes for a gripping, edge of the seat reading.
