I had opened demat & online trading account sometime ago & had been trading regularly in equities & mutual funds. I received an email couple of months ago stating that I need to re-submit my document. When I called up the customer care, I get to know that my documents are destroyed & I need to submit the documents again.
The irony here is, there is no accountability of ICICI Direct. They don't seem to have any obligation on giving assurance to the customer for the documents they have lost. I have no assurance that my ealier documents have not reached unsafe hands.
Please don't believe ICICI Direct. They are careless, irresponsible, don't own an ethical obligation towards its customers, unilateral in there thoughts & think customers as fools.
Please don't suffer like me by opening ICICI Direct account.I would like to give 0 rating for its features but I need to give a minimal rating.
