Must Improve to survive!. Review on ICICI Bank

I appreciate the number of ATMs this bank have in pune. This makes money an easy access. And normally we do not have to go to bank in this regard.

However there are other services which need quite a lot improvment. I encoutred big problem with taking loan from this bank. They have no good - professional agents. They don't know what all needs to be done, what all documetns are required. They have got low interest rate, but loan passing is like something achievement from them, though you are through with everything. Still they will take their time, do things in the very un-organised manner and that too very late.

I persoanlly do not recommand anybody for loans at least.

Recently they hiked the int rates so I went to the branch with a set of questions in mind. First approached a May I help You counter. He asked to me to wait, after half an hour I started seeing people coming in and approching the counters on their own without any queue. I too got up and managed to get attnetion of the only lady on the counter. By the way there were 3 coutners, and 3 persons sitting. But only one lady was talking to customers, rest of them - 2 were managing her to get distracted by their personal chats in front of customers. How professional. Okay. I was happy that I could get hold of her.

However there were few basic quesaions I had reg my loan. All questions were anwered as 'Talk to Customer care' Thats it. If thats so, why there is a branch in town ? I also wanted a xerox document - of the house. The lady said there will be charges. I was ready to pay, but she did not know how much. Also documents were not avaiable. Sounds funny. I retunred back with nothing. Now I am in the process of transferring the loan from ICICI to any better bank- HDFC. HDFC offer such a wonderful and professional service.

I can see many reviews like this and also see the bank is not bothered about the customers. Now it is upto us, we should stop using the bank's services in a large manner which will affect the bank. But I know thats just not possible.
