I have read a lot of reviews about ICICI BANK savings account, following is a communication I recieved, so go ahead and decide if you want an account with this bank

In line with our increased commitments, we are revising the minimum **Quarterly Average Balance(QAB) that you need to maintain in your savings account with us from Rs. 5, 000/- to Rs. 10, 000/- .This revised balance is applicable from 1st July' 2008

The annual charges for the debit card is Rs.99/- plus service tax.The debit card annual fees is applicable for all the savings accounts and is one time debit for the year.

I still like them because the number of ATMs and their DEMAT account. I could not find fault with the internet facilities. I can pay my credit card bills online(for a price of course). And its not cheap, but the facilities are worth the money. I mean its a private bank, not a charity. Its main purpose is to make money for its shareholders.
