I have been reading so many reviews of Hyundai Santro car that I decided to write a review of my own. I own a Santro eRLX model XO purchased in Dec2005. I have absolutely no regrets of buying the car since the car has been giving me fantastic perfomance till date . I will not go into technical details since it has been mentioned quite often in many reviews.
I have a daily commute of 45 kms with 20 kms on weekends and occasional trip to Pune once in every quarter and the car has given me an average of around 16 kmpl in city and 19 kmpl on highways with ac on. I have been able to achieve this because of regular maintenance, steady speed limits on highways and within city. I brought this car from Modi hyundai thane and my exp with them during the purchase was extremely good and I was offered good discounts upto 50K during annual Dec sales.
However even I had my anxious moments when the AC condensor was found leaking after a couple of months of purchase but got it replaced during warranty. The rear suspensions are very bad esp during monsoons. Ovearall a good car for the first time buyers. The Hyundai service network also adds to the buying decision.
