Hyper city- the bigger the brand the worst the service. After shifting to bangalore I went to hyper city for the first time to purchase grocery and stuff. We were told about the hyper city rewards card where we had to pay 150 rs and we would get certain coupons for three consecutive months. That day they were very nice to take my money but the next month when I went to redeem my coupon they showed there true colour.
In the coupon it is written that I will get 200 pointa on a shopping worth rs 1500 from the food and grocery section. So I went to purchase the same and when I showed them the coupon they straight away denied that the coupon cannot be used. We need to purchase for 1500 and then I will get the coupon code and again I need to come and purchase and only then will that coupon be used. On asking where is it written all they said was everything could not be mentioned in terms and conditions. So if everything could not be mentioned what is the use of terms!
Even complaining is of no use in hyper City. During billing also they charge anything and we need to check the bill to sew if we are cheated! They claim that of any mismatch is found they will refund double the difference but even after finding something they did not refund me and they have only one excuse for everything we have policies to follow!
The stock is not available for many products and as it is we need to purchase it from outside. I will just use the card for three months and see if they give me the promised benefits and then I am never visiting hyper city anymore!
