HP's NX6125 (EM345PA)is the midliner in HP's Business Series of Notebooks, designed for serious mobile office work.It is aimed at price conscious consumers requiring a fully featured Mobile office. The NX6125 utilizes AMD's Chips with its PowerNow! Dynamic processor loading and variable speed fan.It runs quiet and cool when you're just doing word-processing but comes alive and kicking when you need the power.

Let’s take a look at the competition. <Acer> makes affordable notebooks, with a starting price of 27k. <SONY>is known to make notebooks for entertainment, prices starting at 63k.<Dell>is unfortunately available only online at 43k, so getting credit from your friendly IT vendor is a problem, and you wonder why the prices are high inspite of not having a marketing network?<Apple> its small service network and high prices is out,<Compaq(owned by HP)> serves the college crowd and people who want good looking notebooks. After all they roped in SRK for ads! <IBM> serves the corporate crowd,lets face it, they aren’t a very demanding bunch, as the company gives it to them free!<Lenovo> roped in Saif and Soha for ads, but they are still Chineese!. So who does that leaves us with? If you took names such as <Sahara, Gigabyte, Intex> shame on you!
HP is the right answer here’s why. they offer a product with features found only in high-end models at competitive prices, vast nation wide service network,simple design, but fantastic features! The minimalist HP logo styled in lowercase italics on the main cover,is a statement that this is no toy.The build quality far exceeds that of any notebook in the same price range. It sports a Magnesium Alloy Body, yet it weighs in at only 2.7kg!The HardDiskfeatures impact protection systems , which braces itself on the eventuality of a drop. Dedicated keys are on the very top of the keyboard for access to wirelesss network, speaker volumeVideo Out. Keyboard is< *spill resistant, *in mould lamination means no worry about spilling your coffee, and the keyboard looks newer for longer time! Touchpad is right below, but it creates a slight problem, as when typing fast, your palms tend to swipe over it, making your cursor go all over. It features a vertical scroll button to help in going up/down for Word/Excel documents and certain Websites.
<Speakers> are housed under the front end of keyboard. It sports a Integrated 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro-compatible stereo audio, AC97 audio, integrated microphone, integrated stereo speakers, volume control and mute buttons.Good enough to rock your private world!

What i would like is to increase the memory to 512 MB Ram, and increase your warranty to a 3 year pack, believe me you'll need it. All in all its a good machine, for serious work. Notrecommended for gamers, or peolple who just want to watch movies all the time. Oh yes if all this sounds too good to be truethe company already removed this model! Relaxthe new model, is priced 3k more, but ships with Windows XP as standard!
