Wish I had never started

When I was still at school me and my friends tried smoking just out of curiosity and I didn't particularly like it very much so I never bothered then when I was 19 and at college one of my friends offered me a cigarette when I was under pressure to complete assesments and I got hooked.

I wish I had never took that one cigarette now as I am hooked and smoke 30-40 a day now.

As well as the obvious health risks to myself and my kids it is like literally burning your money. I must state that I do not smoke in front of my seven month old baby at all and try not to smoke in front of my three year old.

Just think of all the exotic holidays I could have been on with the money I have wasted on the dreaded weed.

I have tried on several occasions to give up but the slightest pressure im under and the first thing I do is to light up.

I have tried laser treatment that worked for two weeks and also hypnosis which lasted a month but you really need willpower and the desperate want to stop real bad.

My mother got hypnotised three years ago and it did work for her and then I ask myself why did I start again the only answer I

could come up with was a feeble excuse of pressure at work or fighting with my hubby or some other lame excuse.

My last try will be the patches which my doctor will hopefully give me on prescription as they are quite expensive even though I would spend more money on the cigaretts themselves.

Hopefully I will give up soon but if there is young members reading this I would strongly suggest not to start in the first place it's not big or clever and does not give you street cred just smelly breath and clothes and lung cancer.

SO DON'T DO IT
