I had a one day of stay at SKS gold mine at port blair on 15th of June 2016. The location of the hotel is very good, just a few minutes walk from the airport and 10 minutes by Auto to the main market- Aberdeen Bazaar and the Cellular Jail. It was my last day in Andamans and I booked this hotel as it was near to Airport.
The hotel is really nice in terms of infrastructure and furnishings. Rooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the design and presentation of rooms is very attractive. Room service is good except the fact that there is no in-built kitchen cum restaurant, the boys will get you the food from the near-by market restaurants.
The hotel is Wi-Fi enabled but you get signald only at the reception.
I loved my stay at SKS gold mine and recommed it to the fullest.
