I probably would have visited only three Saravana Bhavan Hotels so far and this is one of the them. And Hotels like these are one the reasons why I am still visiting HSB in the city. I would have visited this hotel about almost 3 to 5 times so far and mostly I had pretty good experience here.
Well just as other HSBs in the city, this branch is also always crowded just because of taste. But this HSB is special and beyond Taste, deeply known as "Clean and awesome ambiance". Really loved to eat here.
So here are the pros and cons of this hotel -
PROS -
1) As usual HSB foods are tasty and yummy. probably still the best in terms of Veg Food and Traditional Taste.
2) The hotel food arena is spread to two floors(i guess, not sure) and I am sure both the Arenas are of A/C. Hot food under Cool A/C..
3) The Food floors can be reached through Lifts available. Lifts are probably the first kind I saw with HSBs branches.
4) The Hotel is maintained very Clean with floors shining, walls illuminated well, hanging fashionable lighting and Well organised dine Tables. Love the ambiance here.
5) The Staff here as very Friendly most of time, even on the Weekends. They personally explain us the special food available to try for the day. Every Customer is treated like their owners. This is an another the reason why I love this HSB, which is difficult to see with many other restaurants.
6) Pricing - Well pricing is universal with HSB but here the pricing is slightly more, may be a few rupees up. But thats justifiable for the food served and awesome environment.
The Food I loved here - Usual all types of DOSAs especially Masala Dosa and mini meals.
CONS -
Well the lone con with hotel is Car Parking. The Car parking is very small and not enough for all the customers come here. The Hotel has got Car parking facility under the building at ground floor, but this space is suitable only of small cars and not Sedans and SUVs. So if one has big car, they have to park the cars outside on the sides of the road all by ourselves. And there no parking assistance done either for that.
Verdict -
Overall, if there is a vintage HSB at Usman road, then there is this new aged HSB at P Puram. Old or new the hotel looks may be, but the food with HSBs is always same and yummy.
Highly recommended for all.!
Note - I am reducing one star in the rating only for Parking, otherwise this Hotel absolutely deserves full 5 stars.
