Ooty after a long time. Review on Hotel Khems, Ooty

Visited Ooty after a long time. I must say its changed, and become very commercialized for a holiday destination. Stayed in Khems for 3 nights & 4 days. Hotels is pretty good and location is prime. Its in a peaceful residential area and good city view from the room. We stayed in room 307, on the third floor. Hotel was pretty low on lighting mainly in the corridors, needs better lighting. Room was spacious and we were charge Rs.1350/ per night. Walls were recently painted and looked good. Bathrooms are just OK and Hot Water was available only in the mornings.

I was told they're changing their hot water system next year. Restaurant was good and had nice trees to give it a good decoration. Room service is quick WiFi was available only in the lobby but was useful so I could access my emails. Staff on the whole satisfactory. Good & peaceful Hotel to stay in .
