The WRV i-Dtec is the most underrated vehicle in India. I bought this vehicle in the October of 2022 and must say that I am mighty pleased with my acquisition. I put behind the negativities that the media has posted and went ahead. Following are my observations
Pros:
The vehicle is smooth and responsive unlike what is reported by some of the reviewers
It has a powerful engine. So lack of power is a myth. In fact you will normally be able to move around in the third and fourth gears of heavy Bangalore traffic.
Driving is very easy. There is a lot of glass to see through. Not many blind spots
All my buddies and family who have sat in the rear were happy with the space offered.
I got around 24 -25 on the highway and around 15 -16 in the city
The features like the sunroof, ICE, and Climate control work efficiently
The keyless feature is nice and takes time to get used to.
The air conditioning is great. No need for vents in the back
The tyres and stance of the car offer good grip and control of the vehicle Unlike some of the other SUVs where Roll and stability make you feel unstable. Also, the tyre size is good. Bigger tyres will lead to a mileage drop and weight increase of the vehicle.
The doors are good and solid. It opens really wide for anyone across age groups to get into the car.
The car has better stability due to its shape. You can feel it at 100+ kmph
I hope the legendary Honda engineering will help me with the expected low maintenance and reliability for a long period of time
