I am driving this car(smt petrol) for the last 6 months. Let me put in list of problems so that the heading is justified.
1. Engine Noise:- Too much noise especially on 1st and second gear. The car virtually cries at first gear even at a speed of 10kmph. First gear is just good to start and nothing more.
2. Pick up:- Absolutely pathetic pick up on second and third gear. If you are on an incline like a flyover and you suddenly put in a mild break due to traffic, the car will virtually come to a halt and crawl, till you actually reduce the gear to first and then pull the car. This is a unique experience with this car. No other car will virtually halt. All complaints to either the dealer or the company go un noticed since they too know that there is no solution to this problem. I am not sure, why did they make a sedan at 1200 cc when they knew that it will not be able to pull the car, better they would have kept it a hatchback like brio.
3. Dirty Smell:- This is again a very unique problem. If you start the fan and dont want to use the AC, very unbearable smell will be emitted from the vents. if you are driving in cold weather and dont want the AC, you just cannot use the fan without the AC. Some major problem with the compressor or the Fan.
4. Very thin sheet Metal:- Very thin sheet metal used, which will result in dents to the car even with a minor touches while driving. May be even if a dog steps on your bonnet, it may result in a dent.
And the best part is you complain to the company, they forward it back to the service centre and they have been trained to explain you in technical terms( which you cannot understand) for each of the above problems. The company is very well aware of these issues but cannot provide any solution but they forget that they may loose a loyal customer when he is thinking of buying the next car.
