Please read my rated star as prefix with(-) negative sign or you can even assume it half star of negative side or even less, but technically it should be zero. On brighter side let us not get entangled in the vastness of negativity in representing any service or product.


Manager, salesman, cashier, back-end, front-end, customer care, technician, transport handler and every other person associated with hometown are fraud and incapable of doing a single thing without telling you how sorry they are for failing in it. Even when you call them to give a feedback they will say how sorry they are no matter if you are doing it to appreciate them.


Well, the the reason I have turned so skeptical and rebuffing them is because, they have turned me into this review giver and I want to save other innocents from their fraud.


I have purchased to be exact 7 different type of furniture for my entire house costing approximately 4~4.5 lakhs(at different occasions over the past 8 months).


Home Town Phoenix Market City store has given me a headache every time for almost last 8 months and still continue to keep up their good spirits in troubling me(one thing they are good at).


Their customer care is so dumb employed that they say sorry to you for your inconvenience, write you a ticket for your complaint and resolve it very first thing in the next morning, but be aware, they resolve it without attending it. And then they give punch line 'Hometown is pleased to inform you your complaint has been resolved successfully to your satisfaction'.


The first experience of headaches goes like - I had been shipped damaged, scratched, incomplete wardrobe and bed after exceeding numerous deadlines for Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Took them whole 8 months to convince me that I made a huge mistake not going to anywhere else other than Hometown and covered all scratches by magic makeup and polishing. This is their Brahma Astra they polish and put makeup to everything which is not acceptable to the customer.


My last headache experience goes like, I am skipping intermediate headache episodes, do not want to bore you further - I had been shipped damaged dresser, AGAIN, and replacement part came after 1 month of initial placement of order and still waiting for it get fixed/commissioned, although failed even after calling them daily their technician is busiest man I have known.


In fact piece of advice, go to Central Mall Hometown Outlet or anywhere else but Phoenix Market City store.


I have been thinking to share all my correspondences and audio recording with them my numerous visit to Phoenix Market City store(40 km round trip each time) for the benefit of anyone who will make well-informed decision.


And I am also planning not to return the replacement part(use it as bonfire material) as I have given them deadline for today's evening, which they have not turned up so far and me ended up wasting my leave waiting for the heroes of Hometown to come to my home.


In the end, what I will do is take my tool kit and fix the mirror in my new replacement part myself. And will grill corn and chicken over bonfire or replacement part material. Let me show them they have messed up big time.
