In what could be HomeShop18's planned strategy to get rid of their defective products, this case would prove to be an eye-opener. I am disappointed by shopping at HomeShop18. I purchased a Lloyd portable AC under order no:924489117. The AC didn't work and I brought it to the notice of HomeShop18. Initially they promised me refund but later denied it with the excuse that I didn't report the defect within 48 hrs. I had reported the defect after 3 days.
I just want HomeShop18 to answer my simple question. How could I as a layman determine that the unit was defective and report it to them within 48 hrs? It was only when I called the technician for installation that I could knew that HomeShop18 had delivered a defective product to me. HomeShop18 have deliberately made their policy like that, so that they can get rid of their defective products in this manner. This is a smart way of earning quick bucks.
