Horrible experience with Homelane. Review on Homelane

We are the sufferers at the hands of “Home lane” interior decors.

We had confirmed an order on Home lane for our newly purchased flat in Mangalore. In spite of the price being almost 40% higher than local vendors, we thought the above might be professional and they will take care of all, and we need not interfere on daily basis. Please note the contract value was fancy price compared to the others. Before the contract award, they fool us with so many top guys getting involved in Zoom calls. Their only aim is to get the contract and then abscond.

To our surprise, all the work was given to the local vendors. Employees keep changing and we lost control like when we ask our doubts and why this is done like this the reply was that “he has already left the organisation”. We discuss something with the last person and the new person will not be aware of anything. Every now and then there was a new person. They have spoilt many tiles, while implementing the work and all other work is done wrongly. There is a big list of disasters. Since last November 2021, we were raising our voice about the great work carried out. They simply dragged and finally a great person called Sri Nidhi – so-called Delivery Manager appeared. His tactics are during initial calls he will be very nice and then slowly tries to deviate from the subject.

When we call and once met him and if there is argument, he will show the camera and try to frighten us that it's recording. He tries to act as if he is right and that we are raising our voice. He doesn’t know what has happened. He says that it's old designer's fault and that lady has to come and tells us to get that lady. Even if we say that designer was hired by Home lane and it’s their responsibility he will try to ignore.

Home lane has hired this Sri Nidhi just to tackle our complaints and avoid us calling and visiting their office. During our last meeting when we started pointing their faults, he concludes that since this work was completed around 10 months back it may be because of wear and tear from our side.

So, in the last meeting, he has clearly told us that he is not going to do anything further and challenged us to go to any court and he doesn’t care. Our only mistake was we had done 100% payment which should have been avoided. We tried to contact the higher authority in Home Lane. But there is no one to listen to our complaints. It’s a fraud company.

My only request to everyone is please do not go with this company. They hire some famous personalities like MS Dhoni for advertising their company and fool people. With pain since we have invested our hard-earned money, I hope that this company should get closed and they should not be success in fooling people anymore.
