Store shuts during a 2-hour power cut. Review on Home The Mega Home Store, Chennai

I was just at the @Home store on Nelson Manickam Road in Chennai, where I was turned away from the store because there was a power cut between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

What kind of an organization/store is this that turns away paying customtakeouters in the middle of the day? Are they too cheap to afford a generator? Do they think that they have no competition from The Home Center? They don't consider Jabong/Flipkart as serious competition?

This store's customtakeouter service is nothing to write home about too. Their collection of items is quite poor when compared to both online and physical competition. Their online store is even more poorly equipped and poorly managed.

I was there twice earlier this year, and at both times I noticed that:

1. Their customtakeouter service staff were ignorant and unhelpful, and

   
   




2. Their billing staff were ridiculously slow and inefficient

   
   

In any case, it's the @Home store and company that's losing out to more and more physical and online stores every day because of this kind of policy, bad quality/collection and below par customtakeouter service.
