The state of Indian hockey is plightful . People seem to ignore our hockey stars . Except for Dhanraj pillay, Do even 50% of indian know the name of any other hockey player??? Only cricket seems to get the nessessary funds.
A tiny country like germany & netherland can have over 50 international std. stadiums then why not us??? Is it that v lack the nessessary funds or that dosent get the nessessary attention it deserves?? May be both r true.
If our golden run continues(I hope it does) till champions trophy, ther one could expect some respite for our hockey stars . May they bring the trophy and then proceed for athens olympic.Jai dhanraj pillai.(I dont know any othe player)
